Flock Shop Proudly Presents...The 2nd Annual Make It Funky ~ Music & Arts Festival!

LA’s own Historic Chinatown will be home once again to the 2nd Annual "Make It Funky Festival", formerly known as The Funk Rumble Block Party, this summer.

This incredible grassroots event is brought to you by Flock Shop and their collaboration with some of LA's top underground music and art promoters.

Part music festival - part block party, Make It Funky celebrates some of the best and brightest emerging local talent with an eclectic collection of live music, DJs, vendors and artists coming together to create LA's funkiest summertime getdown!

Groove to the sounds of LA’s top funk & soul bands. Performing live - Connie Price and the Keystones featuring Wildchild from the LootPack, MC Daakir/Soup of Jurassic 5 and Percee P. Additional performances by The Rebirth, Jeremy Sole's Musaics, BabyStone, Simple Citizens and E Reece and Core Elements.

50+ DJs from some of LA's top underground clubs will be serving up a diverse array of sounds throughout 6 music areas - soul, funk, reggae, hip hop, latin, jazz, and more - taking you on a worldwide trip of infinite soundscapes.

Visit the curated vendor village where you’ll find quality and unique, apparel, accessories, artwork, one-of-a-kind goods + more, presented by up and coming designers and the most creative individuals in Southern California.

Watch as over 25 artists create amazing works of art right before your eyes, from start to finish, in the Art Walk/Gallery Area curated by The Hive Gallery. (Select pieces will be available for purchase)

A diverse variety of food, drinks & desserts will be available featuring some of LA's most popular Food Trucks, including Lomo Arigato, TheShrimpGuys, Spring Street Smokehouse + more!

For the 21 & up crowd - Chill out with some good grooves and grab a drink at one of the two full bars inside the Grand Star Jazz Club (in the festival grounds).

Stay for the FREE after party at the Grand Star Jazz Club, open til 2am!
